Complete Check Valve and Cartridge Assemblies
for HPLC Pumps

The Sapphire Engineering Division of Scivex® manufactures custom cartridge or check valve assemblies per your specifications. As complete assemblies, our check valves can operate to pressures of 6,000 psi (414 bar). Check valve cartridge and assembly components can be made out a variety of materials such as stainless steel, titanium, PEEK™ and Kel-F®, among others. We pressure test each check valve prior to shipment to ensure optimum performance and complete “dock to stock” satisfaction.

Electro-Magnetically Actuated Checkvalve

The patented Scivex® Electro-Magnetically Actuated Checkvalve(EMAC) is especially well suited to high pressure applications where traditional gravity or spring loaded check valves may limit precision and life span. The robust check valve cartridge design allows the electro-magnetically driven ball to actuate in the direction of choice in under 5 msec. The EMAC operates with 0.7W of input power and actuation voltage of 3.5 Volts. This product has been tested to over 70 million cycles and is pressure rated to 6,000 psi (414 bar)*. Wetted materials are 316 stainless steel, PEEK™ polymer, alumina oxide ceramic and zirconia ceramic. Internal volume is 20µL. This product fits most standard checkvalve ports.

*The EMAC can only actuate when inlet and outlet pressure across the valve are equal.
