High Pressure Valves
Our NanoPeak™ line of high pressure valves are designed for use with LC-MS and other hyphenated or capillary-based systems. Pressure ratings range from 2,500 psi (172 bar) – 5,500 psi (379 bar) (see table below for specific valve ratings).
All of the NanoPeak valves offered by Scivex® feature biocompatible wetted pathways manufactured from metal-free ceramic. Port-to-port volumes range from 35nL to 100nL, depending upon tubing connection configuration. Empirical testing has shown this valve line has a usable lifetime of over 1 million actuations.
While this valve line was originally designed to connect 360µm OD tubing directly, it now includes options to direct connect 1/32” OD tubing as well:

Both valve families feature individual, easy-to-use tubing connections. All NanoPeak valves can be mated with our DC gear-motor or more traditional stepper-motor actuators. Valves can be premounted to a stand-alone actuator or coupled with actuator hardware in an OEM configuration for easy incorporation to existing or developing instrument platforms. Manual versions of each valve are also available.
