Medium Pressure Valves
 |
When operating pressures do not exceed 1,000 psi (69 bar), Medium Pressure Valves offered by Scivex® provide a low-cost, robust solution suitable for many applications.
The standard wetted surfaces for each valve are Teflon® and Vespel®, providing superior chemical resistance. Other combinations for the sealing surfaces exist for more aggressive chemical environments not compatible with Vespel, a polyimide material. One such option is a Teflon and PEEK™ combination.
Each valve in this line allows tubing connections with standard 1/4-28 threaded fittings for flat-bottom ports, including the Upchurch Scientific® brand Flangeless and Super Flangeless™ fittings. These fittings will accommodate tubing with an outer diameter of up to 1/8” (3.2mm).
The two primary Medium Pressure Valve configurations are: a 7-Port, 6-Way Selection Valve and a 6-Port, 2-Position Injection Valve. Each configuration is available in two standard versions which vary by the diameter of the internal fluid passageways – either .040” (1mm) or .062” (1.6mm). Other flow diameters are available for specific needs.
These Medium Pressure Valves are available premounted on our DC gear-motor or stepper-motor actuator, or as manual versions.
